Selmer professional bass clarinets from the 1950's and 60's are well known for their sound and very high standard of craftsmanship. This one from 1954 is no exception, and it is made of some of the prettiest pieces of Grenadilla I have ever seen. Keyed to low E, this instrument packs up small in a compact case and is nice and light around the neck when playing standing. This one has had some past dent repair on the neck but everything looks nice and straight now. Currently sealing reasonably well on older pads - ask about bundling the purchase with a full overhaul and polish to really bring out the best this beastie has to offer!
