Buffet Super Dynaction saxophones were made in Paris quite close to where the legendary Selmer factory was, and were intended as direct competition to the Mark VI instruments. For whatever reason they never quite received the same status, but they are definitely worthy competition, and now represent a fantastic value in a classic top-professional instrument that oozes tone and character. These instruments have great, fast keywork, and a beautiful dark, singing sound.
This tenor was made in 1963 and is in stunning condition, still playing well on older pads. There is a little lacquer missing in a few spots but the instrument is generally in fantastic original shape. This one also comes in its original faux-gator case - very retro-cool!
